Chelsea (mutually agree to…) sack Enzo Maresca as official statement released
Enzo Maresca has been sacked by Chelsea.
A Chelsea official statement on Thursday 1 January 2026 revealing the news.
The circus at Stamford Bridge continuing, with these shameless owners in charge.
The official announcement stating: ‘Chelsea Football Club and Head Coach Enzo Maresca have parted company.’
This has been on the cards for a while, with the Chelsea owners only wanting a puppet in charge who has no say on anything other than picking the team.
A situation very similar to when Mike Ashley owned Newcastle United and the likes of Steve Bruce, Alan Pardew, John Carver and Steve Mc Claren were in the NUFC job. None of them having any say whatsoever on transfers in and out, or any other major decisions.
The Chelsea statement going on to say: ‘With key objectives still to play for across four competitions including qualification for Champions League football, Enzo and the Club believe a change gives the team the best chance of getting the season back on track. We wish Enzo well for the future.’
These Chelsea owners, Todd Boehly (pictured below) and friends, having a laugh when claiming this was ‘mutually’ agreed with Enzo Maresca. At the very least they had made it impossible to carry on with any dignity.
An incredible six different team ‘bosses’ have been in ‘charge’ of one or more matches since the American owners bought Chelsea three and a half years ago.
A seventh no doubt lined up, to follow Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Bruno Saltor, Frank Lampard, Mauricio Pochettino and Enzo Maresca.
