Deloitte Football Money League 2026 rich list published as Newcastle United set new record
The Deloitte Football Money League 2026 has now been published.
The football finance experts revealing their latest yearly overview of which clubs in the World generate the most money.
The report covers the 2024/25 season, with Deloitte as usual given access to the figures from (most) clubs, despite many clubs not having published their accounts as yet for that campaign.
The Newcastle United owners have at times released their annual accounts ahead of the Deloitte report, although on this occasion, no sign yet of NUFC releasing the 2024/25 accounts.
The big news at the very top end of the Deloitte Football Money League 2025, is that no English clubs are in the top four.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and then PSG. Liverpool the highest Premier League club in fifth.
Most importantly of course is the fact that Newcastle United are continuing their rise in revenues after Mike Ashley had ‘succeeded’ in somehow taking NUFC out of the top twenty list, United setting a new record for their annual revenues.
In the 2022 Deloitte list (covering season 2020/21), Newcastle United were 28th in the world in terms of highest revenues.
In the 2023 Deloitte list (covering season 2021/22), Newcastle United went up to 20th in the world in terms of highest revenues.
In the 2024 Deloitte list (covering season 2022/23), Newcastle United then went up again to take 17th place in the world in terms of highest revenues.
In the 2025 Deloitte list (covering season 2023/24), Newcastle United then went up again to take 15th place in the world in terms of highest revenues.
Now (see below) in the 2026 Deloitte list (covering season 2024/25), Newcastle United are actually down two places to 17th in the world in terms of highest revenues, despite the revenues going up once again to record levels for NUFC.
In money terms for Newcastle United, season by season, the total revenues (all figures are in euros €m):

€372.0m 2025 Deloitte report (2023/24 season)
€398.4m 2025 Deloitte report (2023/24 season)
That €398.4m equals £335m in the Deloitte report.
(In their report, Deloitte say that the amounts have been translated using the 12-month average exchange rate at the time of the clubs’ reported year end, with 1 euro equalling £0.84.)
In pounds sterling, the rise from the 2023/24 to 2024/25 season, from the 2025 Deloitte report to the 2026 one, is revenue rising from £314.4m to £335m (up £20.6m).
This is easily the smallest rise in annual revenues under the current Newcastle United owners.
