Champions League UEFA Technical Observer Group explains why Yoane Wissa was player of the match
Yoane Wissa made his first ever Champions League appearance on Wednesday night, as Newcastle United took on PSV.
The seventh round of matches in the Swiss League stage of this 2025/26 Champions League competition.

Harvey Barnes applying a quality 65th minute finish and PSV throwing in the towel, as Newcastle United cruised to a 3-0 victory.
The damage had been done in the opening half hour, as Eddie Howe’s side raced into a 2-0 lead.
Yoane Wissa scoring the first goal, then getting an assist for Anthony Gordon’s second, whilst the former Brentford player almost grabbed a second goal of his own.
