PSV boss Peter Bosz admits harsh reality after hammering by Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United
PSV Head Coach Peter Bosz has been reflecting on defeat to Newcastle United in the Champions League.
Goals from Yoane Wissa and ANthony Gordon in the first half sending United on their way.
Then a typical classy Harvey Barnes finish in the second half completing the win.
Eddie Howe getting his tactics exactly right and the Newcastle United players carrying out their orders so well.
A dangerous PSV team that had hammered Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield and handed Napoli a 6-2 defeat, made to look a poor second best by the end of the match.
PSV boss Peter Bosz stating: “In some areas I wasn’t happy but in others…I think we did well. That may sound strange.”
Peter Bosz admitting the harsh reality though: “Most importantly though, we were unable to make any kind of impact or create any chances, which is what football is all about.”
Newcastle United pressed high and got their rewards, 2-0 up by the half our mark thanks to goals from Yoane Wissa and Anthony Gordon.
Peter Bosz declaring: “I have to say that we gave away our goals very easily. In between that, I think we did an excellent job. We were able to maintain possession and build up from the back, but we didn’t really threaten. When you give away goals like that, it’s more than frustrating.”
