Newcastle United have sold Ben Parkinson to Falkirk.

An official NUFC announcement revealing the news on Saturday morning.

Falkirk are currently sixth top of the table in the Scottish top tier.

Newcastle United stating: ‘Ben Parkinson has completed a permanent move to Scottish Premiership Falkirk for an undisclosed fee.’

Now aged 20, the young striker joined the Newcastle United Academy 13 years ago at the age of seven, progressed through the club’s youth system and signed his first professional contract in 2023.

Ben Parkinson then made his as a second-half substitute away at Bournemouth as Eddie Howe was faced with a ridiculous injury list in Autumn 2023, plus Sandro Tonali suspended.

Parkinson scored eight goals in 11 Premier League 2 appearances last season, as well as netting against Bradford City in the EFL Trophy.

Best of luck to Ben Parkinson and his new club, it sounds like a very decent move and hopefully he now gets plenty of first team football at that lower level and scores goals for fun.
