Newcastle United official announcement – Alexander Isak signs for Liverpool

Alexander Isak has moved to Liverpool.

The Sweden international moving on from St James’ Park.

The news revealed on Monday (1 September 2025) evening via a Newcastle United official announcement (see below).

As usual, no transfer fee made public.

However, media reports earlier in the day had reported it as a £130m deal in total.

This shameful episode now at an end as Liverpool and Alexander Isak finally force the move.
