12 of 13 Newcastle United matches chosen by broadcasters after Wednesday announcement

Broadcasters have chosen 12 of the next 13 Newcastle United matches to be shown live to a UK audience.

This follows an announcement on Wednesday.

There were already nine of the next ten scheduled to be broadcast, now another three added in March.

The Newcastle United matches against Man U, Chelsea and Sunderland have been rescheduled after being selected for live television coverage.

The Man U home match is 8.15pm Wednesday 4 March on TNT Sports.

Then United away at Chelsea is 5.30pm on Saturday 14 March and to be shown on Sky Sports.

but the clash at Stamford Bridge will now kick-off at 5:30pm GMT as opposed to 3pm GMT. That game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Then Newcastle United announcing that the: ‘Home game against Sunderland was initially scheduled for Saturday, 21st March but the Tyne-Wear derby will now take place a day later, with kick-off set at 12pm GMT. That match will also be shown live on Sky Sports but please note this is subject to our possible participation in this season’s Carabao Cup final.’

All of these 13 Newcastle United matches are detailed below, taking us up to the end of March.

However, as well as still the possibility of a Carabao Cup final, these next couple of months hopefully will see more Newcastle United matches in both the FA Cup and Champions League, if NUFC progress…

Saturday 31 January – Liverpool v Newcastle (8pm) TNT Sports

Wednesday 4 February – Manchester City v Newcastle (8pm) Sky Sports (Carabao Cup)

Saturday 7 February – Newcastle v Brentford (5.30pm) Sky Sports

Tuesday 10 February – Spurs v Newcastle (7.30pm) TNT Sports

Saturday 14 February –  Aston Villa v Newcastle (5.45pm) BBC One, iPlayer, TNT Sports 3 and discovery+ (FA Cup)

Saturday 21 February – Man City v Newcastle (12.30pm OR 8pm) TNT Sports

Saturday 28 February – Newcastle v Everton (3pm)
