Wor Flags are back and big plans for new owners first game v Spurs – Help them over the line
Wor Flags said that they would be back once Mike Ashley left.
Those iconic flag displays that looked so good and got so much positive media attention locally, nationally and internationally.
Best of all, they were created / designed by Newcastle fans AND paid for by NUFC supporters.
Well, Mike Ashley has now gone and Wor Flags are back!
Wor Flags putting out this message / appeal just over a week ahead of the now sold out Tottenham game (the first NUFC match in 29 months where all tickets have been sold, that last one for the 2-3 game v Liverpool, Rafa’s very final home game):
“As we promised all those months ago, we’d be back once Ashley leaves.
“This time has come!
“We’re working hard to get a display together for Spurs but we need your help lads and lasses!
“Our displays are made possible by you!
“None of our displays through the 2016/17 or 2017/18 season could have taken place without the generosity of the NUFC fanbase.
“Thank you to all who have made this possible through donating, helping out on match days, waving a flag or giving us support online.”
Whether you can or can’t be there for the kick-off of this new Ashley-free era, please consider contributing to the Newcastle v Tottenham flag display – go HERE to contribute and / or for more details.
