Incredibly tough competition to prove most upset about losing to Sunderland and for longest time
Newcastle United fans upset about losing to Sunderland.
Newcastle United fans still upset about losing to Sunderland.
Newcastle United fans wanting you to know just how upset they are about losing to Sunderland.
Newcastle United fans desperately wanting you to understand that they are the person most upset in the entire Geordie Nation about the defeat to Sunderland.
We get it, you are upset about the defeat at Sunderland.
How long are you going to go on about it? I see until everybody else is either dead or has eventually given up, so you can prove that you are indeed the Newcastle United fan who was the most upset about losing to Sunderland and for the longest time.
The thing is, all Newcastle United fans were upset about the defeat to Sunderland, but for the rest of us, that is now the past and we hope to move on from it. We don’t forget what happened but we support out brilliant manager and the players he selects, to keep giving us more positives than negatives.
After Wednesday night this season has now seen 12 wins for Newcastle United and eight defeats, as well as a handful of draws. The way some Newcastle United fans are going on, you would think we were out of all the cup competitions and on course to break Derby County’s record for lowest ever points in a Premier League season.
The atmosphere was appalling last night as United went through to their third cup semi-final in four years. It isn’t everybody of course, there were still plenty of Newcastle United fans getting behind the boys in black and white.
However, there were also far too many miserable Newcastle United fans who were pointedly glaring at the rest of us who were joining in with the chants of “Eddie Howe’s black and white army…”
These type of people/fans desperate to show their displeasure with Eddie Howe about the Sunderland match. As for the extreme fringe of the Eddie Howe hater society, who booed the introduction of Anthony Elanga last night. Absolutely shame on you.
My first ever experience of a derby match was as a kid watching from the Gallowgate corner as Newcastle lost 4-1 to Sunderland in 1979.Gary Rowell creating carnage inside St James’ Park with his hat-trick, whist the carnage out SJP after the final whistle was mind blowing as a kid watching on. The embarrassing NUFC YouTubers of today will have “Mass battle as Newcastle United fans fight with…” and in reality you end up watching kids shouting insults at each other with loads of police keeping them a distance apart. Not that any of them actually want that distance or police presence removed. Back in 1979 it was absolute bedlam, unfortunately I forgot to take my i-phone to that derby match, so don’t have any footage!
Look, we want to get our own back on Sunderland and this is how we do it
This is a four point plan, plus of course the obvious fifth…
Newcastle United go further than Sunderland in the League Cup – TICKED
Now let’s get past Man City and reach the final yet again, then we will be at Wembley that weekend and ironically the Sunderland derby at SJP having to be postponed.
Newcastle United go further than Sunderland in the Champions League – TICKED
Let us now gat through to the last 16 knockout stages and who knows…
Newcastle United go further than Sunderland in the FA Cup – TO BE TICKED
Three weeks time, here’s to winning at home to Bournemouth, whilst Sunderland lose away to their Scouse Mackem mates.
Newcastle United do better than Sunderland in the Premier League – TO BE TICKED
Attack the rest of the season and not just finish above the Mackems, here’s to qualifying for the Champions League/Europe yet again.
As for the fifth, of course we need to beat Sunderland at St James’ Park.
However, our season is about far more than two matches against that lot.
